ASSET BUILDING CASE MANAGEMENT
Asset Building Case Management (ABC Mgmt.) provides comprehensive case management services that assist low and moderate income families to achieve their self-sufficiency and housing security goals. Catholic Charities case management takes a holistic view of the client’s needs, which broadens the focus to include biological, psychological, and social needs.
This long term project serves Jefferson, Hardin, & Orange Counties.
Families accepted into this project will participate in a variety of classes on money management & home buyer education (Fundamentals of Good Credit classes). Each family will be required to establish a pattern of regular savings. Individual Development Accounts (IDA) may be available to those who qualify. These savings accounts will provide a two-to-one match for the money that the family saves to allow them to buy a home, go to college or attend a vocational school.
