OVERVIEW OF CATHOLIC CHARITIES
Catholic Charities is charged by the Diocese of Beaumont to defend and insure the preservation of human dignity. Inspired by the social teachings of the Church, we strive to improve the lives of those individuals and families who utilize our services, by recognizing and addressing the evolving needs of our society. It is our vision to achieve a universal community that is stronger physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, willing and empowered to care for the needs of all its members.
Services of Catholic Charities are available in most counties comprising the territory of the Diocese of Beaumont: Jefferson, Orange, Hardin, Chambers, Jasper, Liberty, Newton, Polk, and Tyler. Catholic Charities provides services to individuals and families regardless of their religious beliefs.

Our success in Providing Help and Creating Hope is contingent on the strength of our volunteer program, as well as financial support from contractual agreements, the Diocese of Beaumont and other dioceses, fellow Catholic Charities agencies, local businesses, generous foundations and caring individuals. Catholic Charities of Southeast Texas is a member of the Southeast Texas Healthy Families Coalition. The purpose of the coalition is to organize family life and marriage education that helps families acquire the skills & knowledge necessary to form and sustain healthy relationships.
